Privacy policy
This notice explains what happens to the personal data you share with SP Group of Companies through spgroupcompanies.com, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
SP Group of Companies is a group name, not a registered company. Each business in the group is a separate legal entity. This notice covers this website only.
When you send an enquiry through the form on this website, it arrives at contact@spgroupcompanies.com. If it is meant for one of our companies, we pass it to that company so that it can reply to you.
What we collect
- The details you type into the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (only if you give it), the company your enquiry is for, and your message.
- The IP address your message was sent from and the time it was sent. Our server adds these to the email to help us spot misuse of the form.
Please don’t send bank details, identity documents or passwords through the form. We don’t need them to reply.
Why we collect it
- To read your enquiry, reply to it, and pass it to the group company it is meant for.
- To keep the form safe from spam and abuse.
You give us these details so that we can reply, and that is what we use them for. We don’t use them for marketing, and we never sell them.
Who sees it
The people at SP Group of Companies who handle enquiries, and the group company your enquiry is meant for. Our web and email hosting provider stores messages on our behalf. We don’t sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
If your enquiry is about a loan, SP & SP Services will explain its own process to you. It does not pass your details to any lender unless you ask it to.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with it, then delete it. If it leads to work together, the company concerned keeps only what it needs for that work and for its legal records.
Cookies and embedded content
This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and loads no third-party scripts while you browse. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
When you send the contact form, our server sets one short-lived session cookie. It is strictly necessary to stop repeated submissions, holds none of your details, and expires when you close your browser.
The ATHRU video on our home page is provided by YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, the video loads from YouTube, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn’t affect anything done before you withdrew it);
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to; and
- raise a grievance with us about how your data has been handled.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is not meant for children. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
